SuperEnalotto
Established in 1997, the SuperEnalotto draw is by far Italy’s biggest and most loved lottery by local and international fans alike. The lottery is known for long rollover cycles that produce unbelievably big jackpots. One example of this is the most recent €371 million jackpot won in 2023 that set a new European jackpot record!
SuperEnalotto is played by guessing six numbers from 1-90. An additional “Jolly Number” will be automatically assigned to your ticket. The starting jackpot of €2 million can be won by matching all six of the main numbers. Unlike most big European lotteries, the SuperEnalotto jackpot has no cap, meaning it can keep growing until it’s won!

SuperStar
Italy's SuperStar is actually a feature that can be applied to your SuperEnalotto ticket, much like the Mega Millions Megaplier. The SuperStar number, which is drawn from a separate drum at the draw, adds a SuperBonus of €2 million to the regular SuperEnalotto jackpot and boosts the second-place prize by €1 million.
Playing with the SuperStar also gives you a chance at winning secondary prizes that are multiplied between 25-100 times and eight additional prize divisions!

Lotto
Lotto is a classic Italian draw that gives you a chance to win a multi-million jackpot or one of the three secondary prizes every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. So how big is the Lotto jackpot? You can win a €2.8 million top prize which will reset to this amount at every draw.
Italy Lotto has a 5/90 format and a 1 in 43,949,268 chance of winning the jackpot, giving players a significantly better chance compared to SuperEnalotto and SuperStar which have a 6/90 format.
MillionDAY
If you hate the wait between draws, Italy’s daily lottery, MillionDAY, could be for you. As the name suggests, players can win up to €1 million every day of the week! MillionDAY has four prize divisions with fixed amounts that reset at every draw.
Fill out your MillionDAY ticket by choosing five numbers from 1-55. If you correctly guess all of the winning numbers, you win the €1 million jackpot prize!
MillionDAY Extra
MillionDAY Extra gives players another chance to win MillionDAY prizes every day! Immediately after the MillionDAY draw, your numbers will automatically participate in a second draw for a chance to win a jackpot of €100,000 and boosted secondary prizes.
At theLotter, SuperStar is played as an independent lottery. This means that you will fill out your entry with five numbers from 1-55, just as you would a regular SuperEnalotto ticket.
How likely are you to win an Italian lottery jackpot?
From modest daily prizes to some of the biggest jackpots in the world, your chances of winning an Italian jackpot depend on which lottery you choose to play.
The odds of winning the jackpot in MillionDAY and MillionDAY Extra, Italy’s smallest lotteries, are just 1 in 3,478,761. For comparison, Spain’s Bonoloto, another European daily lottery, gives you a 1 in 13,983,816 chance of winning its top prize.
If you're looking to win Italy’s biggest prizes and don’t mind a challenge, SuperEnalotto and SuperSt are the draws you want to enter! For a jackpot that can reach hundreds of millions of euros the odds of winning one is 1 in 622,614,630 - by far the most difficult odds in the world to beat.
Lotto offers a nice medium between these two, giving players a 1 in 43,949,268 chance of winning the fixed €2.8 million jackpot prize!

Other Italian lotteries
VinciCasa
VinciCasa is a daily lottery with a jackpot prize of €500,000.
