How to Play a Lottery Syndicate Online
At theLotter, you can enter lottery draws with up to hundreds of lines at a time! And you can play those hundreds of lines at a fraction of the cost of what you would pay directly for those entries. With so many lines, you could potentially claim winnings from multiple prize categories. All of this is possible when you play the world’s biggest lotteries with theLotter syndicates.
What Is a Lottery Syndicate?
A lottery syndicate is a group of players who gather their money to buy loads of lottery tickets together. This increases everybody’s chance of winning.
At theLotter, we select lottery numbers and buy batches of lottery tickets prior to each participating draw. There are many types of syndicates on our site, so all you need to do is choose your favourite syndicate and purchase shares. You do not even need to create a group of players for your syndicate – we find the players and set it all up for you.
Why Should You Play Lottery Syndicates?
- Buy more lottery tickets for a fraction of the cost.
- Guarantee better odds of winning the jackpot.
- Share the excitement of winning with other players.
What Happens When You Win?
When your syndicate wins, theLotter will notify you of the win and will ensure that you receive your prize. Each player owns a share in the winnings proportionate to how much money he or she contributed to the syndicate.
How Do You Win Prizes with Lottery Syndicates?
A 100-line syndicate has 100 unique number combinations, giving syndicate players 100 chances of winning the jackpot.
Each syndicate is divided into equal parts, made available for purchase. These parts, also known as Shares, determine the portion of the syndicate’s prizes that you stand to win. For example, if a syndicate has 50 total shares, each share will give you 2% of the syndicate’s prizes (100% divided into 50 equal pieces). The more shares you buy, the larger your portion of the prize will be.
What Are the Different Types of Syndicates Available?
Random Selection- Numbers are chosen at random for a fixed number of lines.
Systematic- Covers all probable unique combinations out of a given set of 7-14 numbers. These numbers are chosen at random.
Additional Numbers Match Guaranteed- The lines contain every possible combination of the lottery’s additional number(s). This guarantees that the syndicate will match the additional number(s) at least once. All other numbers are selected randomly.
Guaranteed Number Match- Each line in the syndicate contains one changing number. This dynamic number spans the entire guess range of the lottery. Because of this, the syndicate will match at least one of the numbers drawn – guaranteed! All other numbers are chosen at random.

Most Frequently Asked Questions About Lottery Syndicates
How are the numbers of a syndicate chosen? Can I pick my own numbers?
Syndicate numbers are randomly preselected when the syndicate is created by theLotter. When you join a syndicate, you are not able to choose or change the syndicate’s numbers. You can view the participating numbers in advance when deciding which syndicate to join.
How are syndicate wins divided?
When a syndicate wins, the winnings are divided equally between the number of total shares. Your percentage of the prize depends on the number of shares you bought in that syndicate.
What happens if not all syndicate shares are purchased?
Your portion of the syndicate, your winning odds and your percentage of the prizes are independent of the number of shares sold in the syndicate, and will remain unchanged. The syndicate will purchase all participating lines, regardless of how many shares are actually sold, at no extra cost to you.
